Lavender
Lavandula angustifolia
Historically, Bulgaria was home to some of the world’s premier essential oil research, development, and production. However, this faltered in the Post-Communist era due to the government’s financial support for wheat, sunflower, and corn. This is what inspired us to establish the Esseterre facility in Dobrich, Bulgaria, where we produce Lavender essential oil.
Cedarwood
Juniperus virginiana
doTERRA collects all sawdust and residual materials left over from timber processing of cedarwood in the southeastern part of the United States. This residual material is then distilled to make doTERRA Cedarwood essential oil, minimising waste and ensuring sustainability.
