Copaiba Touch

Copaifera reticulata, officinalis, coriacea, and langsdorffii

Copaiba Touch is a blend of CPTG® Copaiba essential oil and Fractionated Coconut Oil. It moisturizes skin, and promotes a clear, smooth complexion. Copaiba contains the highest levels of β-caryophyllene (BCP) among currently known essential oils. An irregular cannabinoid and sesquiterpene, BCP is a potent constituent within copaiba essential oil. BCP selectively binds to CB2 receptors in the cutaneous endocannabinoid system (ECS)—a signaling and regulating system in the skin. The ECS may modulate local immune responses in the skin.

Why Brazil?

Copaiba trees grow in tropical South America, especially along the Amazon in Brazil. The Amazon River basin experiences about 80-85 percent humidity year-round with an average of 90 inches of rain per year. Because of its position on the equator, the Amazon Rainforest receives 12 hours of sunlight every day of the year. These unique conditions are exceptional for raising Copaiba trees.
