Yarrow products have become increasingly popular because of their wide range of benefits. Yarrow essential oil has high levels of chamazulene and is a great source of β-Caryophyllene. It’s like some blue oils; unlike Blue Tansy however, which should only be used aromatically and topically, yarrow is recognized by the FDA as a food additive (meaning it’s safe to ingest). Many yarrow products on the market contain thujone—a chemical that’s toxic to the nervous system and should never be ingested. However, doTERRA yarrow essential oil is tested through the CPTG® process to ensure it doesn’t contain even trace amounts thujone.
Pomegranate seed oil is a carrier oil, but it’s also packed with more beneficial qualities than you might be aware of. Our pomegranate see oil is cold-pressed, which has been found to have better physiochemical and nutritional qualities compared to other extraction methods. This cold-pressing method provides the highest amount of crucial fatty acids, while also keeping the oil free of impurities. Pomegranate seed oil is uniquely rich in punicic acid (CLnA) and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). CLA is known as an “omega-5” fatty acid because of the location of the double bond in its chemical structure. When ingested, these unique conjugated fatty acids are known to provide metabolic support within key organs like the liver and pancreas, specifically in processes such as lipid transport and metabolism.* You typically consume these fats in meats and dairy products, but doTERRA pomegranate seed oil uniquely contains a high concentration of these conjugated fatty acids from a fruit source.
