Uses
- During your skin care routine, add one to two drops of Lemon Eucalyptus to your favourite dōTERRA skin cleanser.
- Apply one to two drops to the palm of your hands, rub together and breathe deeply during the day for a uplifting and bright aroma.
- Blend three to four drops in Fractionated Coconut Oil for a soothing, uplifting massage.
- Add to a spray bottle to cleanse surfaces and refresh any room.
- Diffuse to encourage a positive environment with this bright, fresh scent.
- Add it to your diffuser blends to balance the sweetness of floral or the intensity of citrus aromas.

Why Kenya?
Lemon Eucalyptus likes hot, humid environments with lots of sun. Additionally, by sourcing from Kenya, we are able to support many smallholder farmers in rural areas while acquiring the highest quality essential oil.
How does it work?
To make use of the natural regeneration properties of lemon eucalyptus, the entire tree is cut down to the base each year. The leaves are then harvested and steam distilled to produce Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil. The remaining stumps regrow for future harvesting.
The Lunga Lunga Project
The Lunga Lunga Project is located along the Indian Ocean, near the Tanzanian border. The project includes a 300-acre model farm, distillation facility and a smallscale farming cooperative producing essential oil crops. Here's how this has impacted farmers in Kenya where we source doTERRA Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil:
- This project works directly with the local community to grow tropical aromatic plants with the goal of including up to 2,500 farmers in this area
- Field officers work closely with smallholder farmers to assist them in producing the best quality and highest yields of their crop which maximises their income
- Thanks to doTERRA's focus on following mutually beneficial sourcing practices, these farmers are empowered economically and experience a positive change in their livelihood
What's in your bottle?
