Native to the forests of the majestic Amazon region, the large and evergreen Breu Branco tree produces a fragrant resin from its trunk that is sharp, piney and pungent. Known locally in Brazil as 'Breu Branco', it belongs to the Burseraceae family similar to Frankincense and Palo Santo, sharing similar chemical compositions.
